I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Design in 2011. Currently I am the resident Designer/Stage Manager at Trent College in Long Eaton. This involves designing, making and stage managing all drama productions of which there are about 5 a year.
My path into design was sealed with a trip in Year 9 to Stratford upon Avon to see Romeo and Juliet, where I spent the entire performance mesmerized by the set and costumes. Since then theatre has become my world, one I love being a part of bringing together all aspects from set and lighting, right down to the programme and what tea to serve at the interval.
It is the endless possibilities that excite me about theatre, anything and everything is possible!
