For the program I was asked to write a small paragraph about the design of the show, here is what I wrote:
The play takes place in three different locations but the one
thing that unites them is the trestle and by having the bridge and the dry
creek as the main focus point it is a constant reminder of the events that take
place there. By having the audience raised up you are forced to look into the
eyes of the actors, something that is not usually done and it creates a very
intense atmosphere.
It has been a pleasure to work with such a talented group of
young people, from the actors to the crew and director. I look forward to
working with them on future productions.
