Othello: Building the Set (Part 2)

Just over a week ago I had 3 flats built and had 4 left to do, well a week later I have the flats built, the undercoat painted and up on the stage! It has been a hectic few days but it is all slowly coming together.
I finished building the rest of the flats the next day and decided the best way to paint would be to do it in the workshop and then transfer it to the May Hall. And so I put pin hinges on all the flats to make it easier to take up and down and put one side up in the workshop to paint, but more importantly to see if the flats fitted together (which they did, archways and all!)

The workshop is quite sizable, it can fit a scissor lift and all the flats stacked up. However it cannot fit one half of the set and a projector and so the only way to paint would be to put the set up on the stage.
