The plan was to build and paint the set last week in the workshop while the hall was being used for the Christmas Concert, but as the saying goes ‘The Best Laid Plans Often go Awry’ and in this case it did. I managed to paint the undercoat on the stage, working round music, but the set was to big to paint the map detail in the workshop.
And so with a week and one day to go I have to paint the map on the flats!
