Othello: Collarless Shirts

The majority of the costumes were hired from either the Lace Market Theatre or Nottingham Community Wardrobe and looked really good, but there were 8 items in particular that I am very proud of, the collarless shirts.

Worn by the sailors in Cyprus, it was cheaper to buy normal shirts from Primark, take the collars and pockets off, neaten the collar and voila...collarless shirts.

Other costumes had to adjust to but it was just the odd button to be secured, a dress taking in or cutting strips of fabric to make ascot ties.
